Dive Classes

Special Events

	July 12 & 13 - This is our regularly scheduled Weekend Certification Classes for July which runs from 8 AM to 3 PM on Saturday and Sunday.   Call Deb at the shop to reserve your spot now...
	July 19 - Fresh water check out dives (3) for July's Weekend Dive Class.  Leaves store at 6:00 AM.
	July 20 - Final check out dives (2) for July's Weekend Dive Class at Riviera Beach with Capt. Dave.  Departure time is 4:00 AM from the shop or we can get rooms for those who would like to go the night before...

 

July 16 - A navigation and night dive for advanced certification will be held at 7pm Lake David Groveland.  Call Deb for registration...

July 26 - We have a Seal Team Scuba Class set for July 26th, and August 2nd and 9th. The first two classes are from 9 - 11:30am and the third is from 6:30-8pm. These are the classes for kids from 8 & up. They learn all of the scuba skills and then some, and even get in a night dive. The class will be held at the shops pool where all other open water classes are taught. The cost is $250 and that includes books and other materials. They will need their own mask, fins, snorkel, weights and if needed, boots.  You can register and pick up the books at the shop before the class so our new students can read the material beforehand.  Call now...

 

Special Dive Trips/Offers   July 4 - Capt. Dave (in Riviera Beach) will be hosting a night dive starting at 7:30pm. This will be a 2-tanker and will be a dive, watch the fireworks, then dive again. The cost is $70 plus tax, gear and air. If you need a hotel let us know and we'll be glad to set that up for you   July 13 - We have two spearfishing trips. Sunday July 13th and Aug 9th a Saturday. They are $125 each for a 3 tank dive and there are only 6 spots each. This is with Capt. Sam and will leave out of Weeki Wachee at 7:30am sharp so we will have to leave the shop by 6:00am.  Call Deb to reserve your spot now...    July 20 - All certified divers are invited to join us on our regularly scheduled (check out) dives on the 20th of this month.  The cost is $60 plus air and gear.  All interested parties should contact Deb as soon as possible...   July 26 & 27 - We will be diving the Pompano wrecks and reefs July 26th & 27th. Sat afternoon we are set for the Ancient Mariner and a reef. Sat. night we will dive a wreck and reef. And Sunday morning we will dive the Aqua Zoo and a reef. The seats are $55 plus tax, gear and air. We have rooms set for you at the Howard Johnsons at $105 ea. ocean side for Sat. night. If you would like one for Fri. too we can handle that.   July 30 & 31 - Wednesday and Thursday, July 30th & 31st, is Lobster Mini-season.  Capt. Dave has room for both days. If you need tanks or gear inspected please give me a few days before the season opens.  Call today to reserve your spot on the boat...

July 11 - Friday Night Out, a.k.a. Liar's Club.   Come join us on the second Friday of each month (starting at 6:00 PM) for our monthly Open House.  This is a great way to meet new friends/dive buddies, share those once-in-a-life time stories, view great pictures taken by our very own expert divers, check out the latest gear, and to just have fun.  It's a very casual time out with the dive shop supplying all the snacks you can eat.  Of course, some of our gang like to bring in their very own special dishes to share and of course, its a BYOB type of event for those that like to have something other than coke.  Hope to see you there!
